Our Resource Services department gathers a wealth of current information in the field of Deaf education. We are happy to provide an array of opportunities for specialist teachers of students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing to support their students’ success through access to resources, mentorship opportunities and collaboration with our professional community.
We offer professional development opportunities for:
- Classroom Teachers, SERTs, LRTs, EAs & Administration
- Educators-to-be, including Teacher, EA & ECE Candidate training
Formerly known as ITSO, SWITO, Symposium East & ITNO, all of our formal professional development opportunities have gone virtual and are now being referred to as PD Pop-Ups! We retain formal presenters throughout the school year on various topics in the field of Deaf education. Please see below for the 2022-23 line up and how to register.
