Eligibility Requirements
Preschool services are available free of charge to any child who:
- Has been identified with a hearing level (e.g., mild, moderate, severe, profound, etc.)
- Is under 6 years of age
Lives in Ontario
Preschool Teachers
Our program focuses on implementing differentiated strategies and providing resources to further your child’s overall development. This includes:
- Using strategies to develop language, literacy and learning for your child
- Developing your child’s use of technologies to enhance their overall literacy skills
- Developing your child’s school-readiness skills and supporting your child’s transition to school

Transition Support
Our team can also support your family if your child is transitioning into daycare or kindergarten. This service includes an overview of school placements and support for team meetings. If you are interested in accessing transition services, please complete a referral form.
